Job description
Role Overview
The Private Office of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi is seeking a skilled Crypto Operations Manager to oversee daily activities related to its digital asset portfolio. This hands-on position requires active management of funds, custody control, and real-time awareness of portfolio status.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day cryptocurrency operations including transfers, swaps, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
- Administer both hardware and software non-custodial wallets, handling key generation, backup protocols, and recovery procedures.
- Conduct transactions personally on leading centralized (CEXs) and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
- Regularly monitor portfolio positions and balances, providing timely reports.
- Implement and maintain strong security practices such as multisignature arrangements, access control policies, whitelisting of addresses, and transaction validation prior to signing.
- Maintain thorough internal documentation of wallet details, addresses, and transaction histories.
- Optimize network fees, bridging strategies, and settlement times to manage operational costs effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive direct experience managing a significant cryptocurrency portfolio involving substantial funds and consequential decisions.
- Advanced practical skills with non-custodial wallets encompassing both hardware and software solutions.
- Proven work history executing crypto transactions independently on major CEXs and DEXs without intermediary desks.
- Deep understanding of self-custody security measures, including seed phrase management and transaction hygiene protocols.
- A meticulous and methodical work style, recognizing the irreversible nature of errors in this domain.
- High level of discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range of $140,000 to $150,000.
