Role Overview
The role involves preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals and estimating manufacturing costs for CNC machine tools while supporting the sales team in preparing competitive quotations. The candidate must have a deep understanding of machine tool design, manufacturing methods, costing techniques, and commercial proposal drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft comprehensive techno-commercial proposals tailored for CNC machine tools.
- Analyze customer RFQs, review specifications, drawings, and technical prerequisites.
- Compute manufacturing costs considering bill of materials, purchased components, fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical systems, and installation.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Production, Procurement, Electrical, and Sales departments for technical insights.
- Develop precise cost sheets and pricing models.
- Prepare quotation packages, commercial proposals, and technical compliance documents.
- Review vendor quotations for purchased items and incorporate them into overall project costing.
- Assess manufacturing feasibility and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Maintain up-to-date costing databases, standardized costing templates, and proposal records.
- Engage in technical dialogues with customers as necessary.
- Assist with the transition of confirmed orders to the execution teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or Diploma in any engineering discipline.
