A reputable company in Saudi Arabia is searching for a skilled Cost Accountant with verified experience in the hotel and restaurant sectors. This role centers around performing detailed cost analyses, exercising financial controls, and boosting operational efficiency through precise financial reporting and ongoing cost monitoring.

Key Duties

• Compile and scrutinize regular cost reports related to hotel and restaurant operations.
• Oversee Food & Beverage cost management to maintain cost effectiveness.
• Assess and compute costs associated with meals, products, and offered services.
• Review purchasing activities, receiving records, and stock movement.
• Investigate discrepancies in costs and propose suitable corrective measures.
• Perform periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile with system data.
• Develop cost performance indicators and profitability analyses.
• Collaborate with operational teams to minimize wastage and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in budget development and compare actual outcomes with budgeted targets.
• Deliver comprehensive cost analysis reports with recommendations to senior management.

Candidate Profile and Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years’ practical experience in cost accounting roles.
• Proven background working within both hotel and restaurant industries is essential.
• In-depth understanding of Food & Beverage costing methodologies.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to produce detailed financial reports.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication ability, and effective time management.
