The Corporate Sales Manager plays a crucial role in identifying, structuring, and closing major deals that align with ACT's strategic agenda.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities consistent with ACT Group's strategic focus, developing a robust pipeline of high-value deals.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze trends, opportunities, and risks within targeted markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, serving as their main contact throughout the deal lifecycle to ensure satisfaction.
- Lead complex deal structuring, negotiation, and execution, collaborating with legal, finance, operations, and R&D teams to ensure deals meet commercial and strategic criteria.
- Present deal proposals and strategic rationales to senior leadership and the Board.
- Monitor market developments, regulatory shifts, and competitor behavior, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to long-term business strategy development with a cross-functional team approach, participating in company growth and innovation initiatives.
- Regularly track and report key performance metrics related to deals and origination activities to senior management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Between 3 and 6 years of experience in deal origination, business development, or similar roles, preferably within sustainability or energy sectors.
- Background in B2B sales, account management, or commercial roles, with adaptability to fast-paced commercial environments such as tech sales or SaaS regarded as advantageous.
- A strong commercial mindset, resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to establishing long-term client partnerships.
- Proficiency in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal interaction.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with a talent for identifying new opportunities and crafting innovative solutions.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities while collaborating effectively within dynamic teams.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity.
