Role Summary
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Contract Administrator based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial and operational contracts. Ensuring compliance with company guidelines, Saudi commercial and maritime laws, and applicable international standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts to align with company policies and legal standards.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, finance, and operations departments to monitor contract execution and performance.
- Manage contract amendments, variations, and claims proactively to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure smooth contract processes.
- Maintain hands-on expertise with marine and offshore contracts, including BIMCO standard forms, charter parties, and maritime service agreements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and comprehensive contract management, particularly involving complex commercial agreements.
- Practical knowledge of BIMCO contracts (charter parties, offshore agreements) and maritime contracting procedures.
- Thorough understanding of Saudi commercial legislation, regulatory requirements, and contractual compliance norms.
- Solid grasp of maritime and offshore contracting principles such as risk distribution, liabilities, indemnification, and claims handling.
- Strong analytical abilities to accurately interpret and manage detailed contractual terms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to facilitate collaboration across teams and with external counterparts.
- Experience in procurement and supply chain contract management is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in contract administration, legal, or commercial roles preferred.
- Familiarity with contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Keen attention to detail and capacity to work efficiently under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
