Role overview
This is a remote-first content marketing role for a partner company in the fintech space, based in Germany. The role blends storytelling, content strategy, and demand generation, with a strong focus on turning complex payments topics into clear, engaging content that supports business growth.
You will work closely with marketing and demand generation teams to produce content that builds awareness, drives engagement, and contributes to commercial outcomes. The position is highly autonomous and suits someone who enjoys owning execution, moving quickly, and using data to improve results.
What you will do
You will manage content execution across several formats, including long-form articles, campaigns, newsletters, and social media assets. You will also help shape go-to-market content efforts that support product launches and wider marketing initiatives.
- Help plan and maintain the content calendar so delivery stays aligned with marketing priorities and business objectives.
- Research, write, and publish content in multiple formats such as blogs, guides, case studies, newsletters, social posts, and campaign materials.
- Turn complicated fintech and payments concepts into simple, audience-friendly messaging and narratives.
- Build and run go-to-market content plans together with Demand Generation to support launches and campaigns.
- Repurpose and distribute content through channels including LinkedIn, email, and other digital platforms to extend reach and engagement.
- Review content results using data and audience insights, then use those learnings to sharpen strategy and improve performance.
- Test new formats, angles, and distribution methods to keep improving content effectiveness.
- Use AI tools and automation to speed up content production, improve quality, and scale output.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in fast-moving B2B or B2C technology settings.
- Strong editing and writing ability, with a talent for making technical or financial topics feel accessible and human.
- Experience taking content from concept through to publication with a high level of ownership and little day-to-day oversight.
- Good understanding of how content supports audience growth, demand generation, and commercial impact.
- Hands-on experience using performance data, experimentation, and audience feedback to improve content strategy.
- Comfort working in agile, high-performing teams where priorities can shift and responsibilities are broad.
- Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools for content creation and marketing automation.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different formats and channels.
- Helpful to have experience in fintech, payments, or other technical B2B industries.
- Helpful to have experience editing video or audio content.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback, iteration, and continuous improvement.
