Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Construction Manager to support the Project Manager in supervising the construction and commissioning phases of projects, specifically focusing on water and used water treatment plants. This role involves managing contractor claims such as progress payments, variations, and extension requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the complete construction and commissioning processes of assigned projects.
• Coordinate activities between the Design Team and Contractors to ensure alignment in scheduling, cost management, document control, and quality assurance implementation.
• Review and update contractors' project schedules reflecting current status and cost tracking for all contracts.
• Manage quality assurance and safety protocols while supervising the Consultant’s site supervision team.

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 15 years of experience in construction, with a minimum of 10 years dedicated to managing large-scale used water or water treatment plant construction projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Possess an engineering degree or relevant professional certification.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software is preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
• Prior project experience in water or water treatment plants is desirable.
