Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and cooperative Construction Contract Change Manager to oversee the change management aspect of multi-billion dollar Data Center construction projects. This key position, primarily based in Bellevue, WA but allowing hybrid work, requires close collaboration with Construction Management, Contractors, and Client Owners to ensure projects are timely and budget-compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly manage the contract change process and facilitate knowledge transfer within project management teams.
• Analyze contract details to identify scope changes and evaluate contractor change requests.
• Prepare comprehensive change orders, adhering to deadlines, while regularly engaging stakeholders about potential contract adjustments and risks.
• Support preparation of accurate change order cost estimates and perform Time Impact Analyses as needed.
• Conduct prompt review of changes and claims, advising on negotiation approaches.
• Collaborate with the Construction Management Team to detect possible changes and their scope effects.
• Develop strategies focused on avoiding and preventing change orders and claims.
• Summarize high-level change information and assist clients during negotiations with contractors.
• Present potential change orders and analyses in executive change meetings with senior leadership.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Team for regular status updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 15 years of experience in Commercial Management and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Ability to work remotely with necessary travel to project sites.
• Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments involving multiple stakeholders; punctuality and responsiveness are essential.
• Experience with large-scale Mega Projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction and management platforms such as Procore, Unifier, and Power BI is expected.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $111,000 to $152,700 annually, influenced by location, skills, experience, and education.
