Community Warden

Role Overview

This position is for a Community Warden tasked with maintaining a visible and reassuring presence throughout the local area, enhancing community safety, and supporting residents with social and environmental matters. The successful candidate will actively contribute to fostering a safe and cohesive neighborhood atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses promoting the wellbeing of local residents by addressing concerns relating to safety, social issues, and environmental quality. A core element involves protecting vulnerable groups including children and those requiring safeguarding under Council policies.

All Council personnel must prioritize safeguarding vulnerable individuals. The successful candidate will undergo enhanced background checks through the disclosure and barring service to ensure suitability for the responsibilities involved.
