In this role, you will empower clients to live safely and independently in their own homes, preserving their dignity and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centered care and assistance customized to meet each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Help with daily tasks including personal hygiene and overall care.
- Support clients with meal preparation and planning.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, including providing transportation for appointments, shopping, and social events.
- Carry out domestic duties like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, and various household chores.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification as a basic requirement.
- Strong passion for enhancing the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and dependable personal vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain these.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration, or willingness to acquire them.
