Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training programs to acquire the skills necessary for effective pest control service delivery.
- Maintain safety as a top priority in all work activities.
- Manage and adhere to a daily service route schedule within an assigned area to ensure timely, safe customer visits.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in clean, safe condition.
- Uphold professionalism and integrity while interacting with customers and team members.
- Diagnose pest issues and develop effective treatment plans tailored to customer needs with empathy and expertise.
- Communicate service actions to customers, verify satisfaction, and suggest additional appropriate pest management services.
- Perform detailed inspections of customers’ premises, both interior and exterior, leveraging provided training.
- Complete accurate service documentation using handheld devices for efficiency.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to use ladders safely and adhere to weight limits.
- Capability to occasionally lift and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in confined spaces, crawl spaces, rooftops, and attics, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA-compliant respirators when required.
- Preparedness to perform duties under varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
- No previous pest control experience needed; full training provided.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Must obtain proper pesticide licensing within 90 days of hire, with company support.
- Capable of working independently in assigned territories, handling route management and direct customer engagement at both business and residential sites.
