Role Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Manager to bolster our Commercial Department by managing contract administration, overseeing subcontractor management, drafting correspondence, and coordinating with project stakeholders to support contract execution and commercial processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft contractual letters, notices, minutes from meetings, and commercial reports for senior management review.
- Assist in handling contracts, subcontracts, variations, claims, payment processing, and maintaining commercial documentation.
- Respond to subcontractor inquiries, conduct quotation comparisons, evaluate commercial proposals, and partake in negotiations.
- Gather and organize supporting documents for contractual and commercial submissions.
- Identify and escalate critical commercial or contractual issues to senior leadership for timely resolution.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Pursuit or possession of relevant professional training on contracts, including knowledge of FIDIC standards, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic language skills will be considered an asset.
