Position Overview
We seek a committed Commercial Lines Handler to join a premier insurance brokerage team located in Donegal. This role suits experienced insurance professionals aiming to advance their careers in a vibrant and fast-moving environment, delivering exceptional service to commercial clients.
Work Schedule
Flexible three or four-day work week options may be considered, with a hybrid working model requiring one day per week onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance requirements are met and retention is secured.
- Perform renewals, conduct market comparisons, complete placements, and issue precise policy documents.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters by collecting and submitting all necessary documentation to support risk placement, following up as needed.
- Resolve client inquiries including mid-term policy changes and claim reporting.
- Maintain detailed and organized files to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
- Keep updated with industry trends, insurer news, and adapt to evolving client demands.
- Work alongside team leaders and colleagues to support departmental objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in commercial insurance broking is essential.
- Holding APA or CIP qualifications is advantageous.
- Strong familiarity with commercial insurance products such as Property, Liability, and Professional Indemnity.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to administrative details.
- Knowledgeable about Ireland's insurance regulatory environment.
- Proficient IT skills with experience in insurance software being a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills focused on delivering superior customer service.
