Position Overview
Tranquil Clinical Research and Consulting Services is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Outreach Coordinator based in Webster, TX. This full-time, onsite role focuses on supporting clinical research participant recruitment efforts by utilizing outreach strategies and maintaining communications to promote ongoing studies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of current clinical trials.
- Provide accurate information and respond effectively to inquiries from potential participants.
- Maintain and update outreach databases while monitoring recruitment metrics for study populations.
- Ensure all outreach activities adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, institutional policies, and ethical standards governing clinical research.
- Facilitate participant recruitment through community engagement, educational forums, social media presence, and digital communications.
- Support patients by addressing their clinical and personal requirements professionally.
- Assist the Clinical Operations Department with general administrative tasks related to clinical trials.
- Complete and maintain training on ICH-GCP guidelines as part of onboarding and continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with patients and community members.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, showing professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
- Preferred educational background includes current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or related field such as Public Health, Biology, Health Sciences, Nursing, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration.
- Diploma holders or current high school students are also encouraged if applicable.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Demonstrated passion for advancing healthcare through research, with a friendly, outgoing, and community-driven personality.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and proactive problem-solving skills are highly valued.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge or training in HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is beneficial but not mandatory.
