Role overview
The Client Success Manager will manage a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for keeping clients satisfied, retained, and growing. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to clients by reviewing campaign performance, uncovering opportunities to expand business, and using data to improve outcomes. You will also work closely with internal teams to make sure client needs are addressed. This is a high-visibility, client-facing position for someone who can interpret performance data and confidently present recommendations to clients and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Expand accounts within your portfolio by spotting additional campaign opportunities that improve return on marketing spend.
- Analyze performance data to evaluate growth potential, identify campaign issues, and suggest optimizations that go beyond client expectations.
- Take ownership of client satisfaction, retention, and growth metrics for the accounts assigned to you.
- Handle several client relationships at once and maintain strong daily working relationships with contacts across each client organization.
- Represent the company in client meetings, demos, and events in person, including occasional travel with trips that may require at least two overnight stays.
- Guide clients through a smooth onboarding and product activation experience.
- Resolve client challenges by coordinating with internal teams when support is needed.
- Summarize client feedback and share it with internal stakeholders across Executive, Product, Data Science, and Sales functions.
Candidate profile
This position is best suited to someone with a background in client success or account management in programmatic advertising or ad tech. Experience from agencies, DSPs, or SSPs is all relevant. The role also calls for comfort working with analytics and reporting tools, strong presentation ability, solid numerical thinking, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. You should be able to explain complex ideas clearly to both media buyers and senior executives, stay organized while managing multiple priorities, and work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams.
Additional requirements
Hands-on exposure to analytics/reporting tools such as Tableau, DOMO, Google Analytics, or Salesforce is important. Experience with Agentic AI and DSP interfaces is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities across accounts.
