About the Role

Amey is seeking permanent Cleaning Team Leaders to manage cleaning operations at the Bradford Schools Private Finance Initiative site, which includes 10 schools (7 secondary and 3 special educational needs) located at Hanson Academy, Swain House Rd, Sutton Ave, Bradford BD2 1JP. This on-site position offers a competitive salary of 14.12 per hour with working hours scheduled from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the cleaning team, performing essential people management tasks.
  • Conduct biweekly cleaning audits to identify and implement improvements.
  • Manage stock levels, order supplies through appropriate channels to ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Operate cleaning machinery safely according to guidelines and training provided.
  • Deliver training sessions to cleaners on Amey’s procedures, including refresher training every six months.
  • Address and resolve team member concerns or escalate issues to management if necessary.
