About the Role at Amwins Self-Funded, LLC
Join Amwins as a Claims Processor and contribute significantly to the fast-paced insurance sector. This position is primarily onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week after successful completion of training.

Key Responsibilities
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Amwins’ business model and the insurance products supported, guided by Claims management and lead auditors.
- Ensure timely and precise communication with carriers, administrators, clients, and brokers using standardized templates, keeping the Claims Lead informed.
- Manage monthly claim reporting for assigned clientele, forwarding necessary information to carriers and tracking missing reports diligently.
- Review reimbursement requests thoroughly to guarantee completeness, and solicit any absent details.
- Obtain necessary approvals for eligibility documentation, especially for time-off exceeding twelve weeks, before progressing claims.
- Record, submit, and monitor reimbursement claims within authorized spending limits and follow up on pending payments.
- Audit and issue reimbursements accurately while informing the designated contacts promptly.
- Maintain detailed internal logs for all claims to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee the closure of client accounts by settling reimbursement requests at the end of each plan year.
- Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional tasks and projects as delegated, boosting team collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
- A college degree or comparable professional experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to uphold strict confidentiality standards.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines amidst shifting priorities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail combined with a proactive sense of urgency.
- Strong motivation and willingness to comprehend Amwins’ business processes and insurance models.
