Chief Strategy Officer

Role Overview

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is tasked with shaping and driving the company's long-term strategic vision. Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior management, this role focuses on uncovering growth avenues, assessing market trends, spearheading corporate development, and maintaining competitive advantage within the financial services sector.

Key Accountabilities

• Craft and sustain the company's strategic roadmap aligned with market dynamics and shareholder goals.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable and quantifiable initiatives, delivering presentations to senior leadership and the Board.
• Discover new revenue streams and evaluate opportunities for introducing novel financial products and services, domestically and globally.
• Lead mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments, conducting thorough financial and operational assessments and managing integration processes.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, regulations, and macroeconomic factors to advise necessary strategic realignments.
• Champion enterprise-wide digital transformation, including AI and automation adoption, to enhance agility and competitive positioning.
• Oversee organizational strategic planning by defining KPIs, tracking initiative outcomes, and ensuring accountability across divisions.
• Provide executive mentorship, foster a culture of innovation and strategic collaboration across business units.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degrees such as an MBA are highly favored.
• Minimum 15 years in senior leadership roles with deep expertise in corporate strategy or business transformation.
• Solid background in financial services sectors including investment management, fintech, banking, or capital markets.
• Proven record of leading strategic enterprise initiatives and interacting with Board members.
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling, corporate finance, and market analysis.
