Job Overview

  • Perform articulation studies, packaging, and interface clearance evaluations to ensure precise component fit and function.
  • Conduct design reviews emphasizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and obtain approvals from quality teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with powertrain, vehicle integration, and other teams to incorporate design input and clearance requirements seamlessly.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in automotive parts design, particularly in driveline, axles, suspension, brakes, HVAC, or thermal systems.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting.
  • Familiarity with design and interface clearance studies for automotive component integration.
  • Adept at working in team environments with multiple engineering functions and departments.
