Role Overview

As a Catering Lead, you have a vital responsibility for managing catering operations. You will assist guests in selecting Panera's delicious dishes for their special occasions, promptly handle their requests, and ensure smooth, accurate delivery of catering orders.

Key Duties

• Oversee and fulfill catering orders efficiently
• Deliver warm and personable customer service, communicate clearly, and follow up to guarantee guest satisfaction
• Support with order deliveries at events
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Uphold high-quality food standards synonymous with Panera
• Promote awareness and enthusiasm for Panera Catering with local businesses, schools, and event organizers
• Provide assistance to managers and teammates when required
• Contribute to fostering a workplace culture centered on warmth, inclusion, growth, and trust

Candidate Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Possess basic food safety knowledge and obtain any required Food Handler's certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine enjoyment of working with people
• Self-driven with the ability to achieve objectives independently
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Own a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record for delivering catering orders
• Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle and meet driving requirements
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a dynamic environment
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads between 25 to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for up to three hours consecutively
• Clear verbal communication and quick comprehension of instructions in noisy settings
