Cash Poster

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Poster to join Aveanna Healthcare's Revenue Cycle team remotely. In this critical position, you will accurately post insurance and patient payments into accounts receivable, contributing to financial accuracy and timely reimbursements across various payer types. This full-time role, Monday to Friday, offers hourly pay ranging from $19 to $20.

Job Responsibilities

• Precisely record payments from Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurers, and private payers in the accounts receivable system.
• Reconcile daily cash postings ensuring payment batch accuracy.
• Input payment denials, apply payer adjustments, and process recoupments.
• Collaborate with Patient Account Representatives to clarify and resolve payment inconsistencies.
• Adhere to standard posting procedures, SOX compliance, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation including completed batch records.
• Provide excellent customer service to support prompt payment processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: Minimum one year experience in healthcare, medical billing, payment posting, or accounts receivable.
• Proficient with data entry, 10-key operation, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Understanding of insurance payments and healthcare reimbursement advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Compensation and Schedule

Hourly pay ranges between $19 and $20. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday.
