Role Overview
This position involves guiding potential students and their families by suggesting appropriate educational programs and career paths. The incumbent will provide personalized counseling to assist students in making thoughtful choices regarding their academic and professional trajectories.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with prospective students and their families to recommend fitting educational and career options.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to enable informed decision-making for academic and career advancement.
- Manage the entire student lifecycle from initial inquiry through admission and onboarding.
- Utilize effective follow-up strategies via telephone, email, and messaging to convert leads into enrollments.
- Attend to walk-in visitors at branches and maintain a strong conversion rate from visits to enrollments.
- Coordinate efficiently with branch personnel and internal admission teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
- Monitor and uphold fee structures in accordance with institutional policies.
- Consistently meet and strive to surpass weekly and monthly enrollment targets.
Candidate Qualifications and Skills
- MBA degree is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to relate to students from varied backgrounds.
- Prior experience in counseling, advisory, or student support is advantageous.
- Competency in standard computer applications and office productivity software.
- Experience in telephonic calling is preferred.
