About the Role
Join Capital SMART, the foremost accident repair network across Australia and New Zealand with over 60 locations. We are seeking a dependable Car Washer/Detailer to become part of our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position is based in Sunshine West, Victoria, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean vehicles at arrival and at essential phases during the repair cycle.
- Perform buffing, de-nibbing, and polishing of vehicle paintwork to attain the desired finish.
- Conduct quality inspections prior to vehicle handover to ensure compliance with Capital SMART standards.
- Detect and correct any paint flaws or finish defects before vehicle collection by customers.
- Safely move vehicles within the workshop and yard.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and work areas.
- Keep precise records detailing completed work tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in car washing, detailing, panel shops, or automotive-related environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with buffing, polishing, and de-nibbing techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence is required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Must possess full legal working rights within Australia.
