Key Responsibilities

General: Lead the provision of campus soft services such as custodial, cafeteria, front-of-house, and event support to ensure a smooth campus experience aligned with academic and student objectives. Represent campus services in university operations and key events demonstrating professionalism and customer focus. Promote ongoing service excellence and improvement in all relevant campus areas.

Strategic: Design and manage the campus services delivery framework to guarantee readiness on day one and maintain operational efficiency. Coordinate procedures for campus events, performances, exhibitions, screenings, and ceremonies in conjunction with other university departments. Develop structured service models including SLAs, SOPs, KPIs, and performance reviews. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure high-quality service standards. Track and assess service delivery performance across various metrics such as user satisfaction, operational efficiency, event readiness, and SLA adherence. Implement reporting mechanisms on service outcomes, space utilization, user experience, event preparedness, and policy compliance. Forecast and plan for evolving campus service needs including transportation and accommodation. Drive digital initiatives to optimize service and user interactions. Ensure health, safety, and institutional regulatory compliance.

Operational: Supervise campus soft and hospitality services, venue management, and event support functions. Review operational outcomes and apply corrective measures when necessary. Support the coordination and readiness of major university events. Collaborate with Facilities Management, Security, Academic Operations, Student Affairs, and Shared Services to ensure cohesive service delivery. Manage vendor performance and address escalated operational concerns promptly.

Experience and Skills

• 10 to 15 years of experience in facilities management, campus services, hospitality, or allied operational fields.
• Leadership roles in custodial, catering, front-of-house, venue operations, and event support services within large-scale organizations.
• Deep knowledge of integrated service delivery models, vendor-managed contracts, and campus event planning.
• Proven vendor and multidisciplinary team management capabilities.
• Expertise in coordinating campus services and events with strong operational and analytical skills.
• Solid grasp of service quality metrics, operational reporting, and performance oversight.
• Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management expertise.
• Competent leader with the capacity to manage teams and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficient in problem solving and adapting in dynamic environments.
