Role Responsibilities
- Contribute as part of a technical team providing process engineering support to operational activities.
- Offer expert technical consultation and help resolve daily operational challenges.
- Conduct unit optimization, troubleshooting, and de-bottlenecking analyses to enhance performance.
- Lead and engage in safety-related efforts including risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
- Assist ongoing reliability enhancement initiatives and equipment strategy development.
- Examine technical complexities to identify root causes and recommend strategies that aid decision-making and problem resolution.
- Develop and implement projects aimed at improving operational margins.
- Assignments may begin at either the Chemical Plant or Refinery site.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong team orientation complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of multitasking, managing varied interactions, and prioritizing effectively.
- Experience with process modeling software and familiarity with technical computing and design tools used in hydraulic calculations, TRV relief, and other evaluations.
- Knowledgeable in preparing Heat and Material Balances (H&MB), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process equipment design specifications.
- Understanding of industry-standard practices and safety considerations relevant to process design.
