Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Recruiter to handle the complete hiring process for various non-technical roles across multiple departments including General & Administrative, Operations, Marketing, People, and Finance. This is a pivotal opportunity to join our recruitment team early and contribute to establishing Step as a leading fintech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle from role intake to offer issuance for non-technical positions.
- Collaborate closely with Step's leadership to develop effective recruitment strategies attracting high-quality candidates.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods to engage passive candidates and manage inbound application streams.
- Conduct careful resume screening and initial interviews to evaluate applicants against job requirements and company culture.
- Ensure all candidates experience a premium, thoughtful recruitment process.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of recruitment experience in a fast-paced, growing company environment.
- Strong dedication to delivering positive candidate experiences regardless of hiring outcomes.
- Genuine interest in understanding candidate backgrounds and motivations to align hires with company needs.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with hiring managers across departments.
- Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools into recruitment workflows to enhance efficiency and depth.
- Proven track record of independently owning and progressing a recruiting project end-to-end.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and structuring processes within a rapidly evolving environment.
- Proactive, with an ownership mindset and ability to act swiftly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence in recruitment practice.
Logistics and Requirements
- Location options include remote work, hybrid arrangements, or on-site in the Bay Area.
- Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
