Business Process Management Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Methods Consultant specializing in Business Process Management (BPM) to join our client team in Singapore. The role involves crafting integration solutions and managing process workflows within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions using webMethods Integration Server, BPM, and API Management tools.
• Develop and oversee BPM workflows, incorporating human activities, service tasks, business rules, and process performance monitoring.
• Create and integrate SOAP and RESTful web services for seamless application interaction.
• Construct, expose, and secure APIs leveraging webMethods API modules.
• Formulate and execute Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices-based integration strategies.
• Facilitate integration of webMethods with various enterprise applications, databases, and Oracle retail solutions such as Xstore or MICROS POS.
• Engage in migration and upgrading of webMethods components, including orchestrating deployment plans and performing system validations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Business Process Management; experience with webMethods migration or upgrades is advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of web services including SOAP, REST, and Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Strong expertise in webMethods API and BPM modules.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Knowledge of microservices architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with Oracle retail solutions, particularly Xstore or MICROS Retail Xstore Java POS.
• Analytical skills to assess and propose effective solutions for potential issues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practices.
