About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing company, focusing on outreach to grassroots football clubs in Kent. This fully remote position involves using a strategic, needs-based sales approach to introduce clubs to our innovative Club Management Platform, supporting their growth through our 5-Pillar Club Development methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearly articulate the value of TeamFeePay and customize solutions in response to client needs.
- Demonstrate and sell our system confidently, leveraging support from Product Specialists.
- Conduct thorough pre-qualification of leads aligned with company strategies.
- Engage actively in both pre-sale and post-sale processes.
- Manage the sales funnel strategically, including in-person club visits when appropriate.
- Maintain and update sales progress and communications within Salesforce ensuring accurate pipeline tracking.
- Coordinate introductions of new sales leads to the Onboarding Manager.
- Meet business targets and key performance indicators consistently.
- Organize and participate in quarterly events and tournaments to engage clubs.
- Maintain and build a regional club prospect database.
- Understand and support clubs through their lifecycle milestones.
- Identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements within sales processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and departments to deliver outstanding experiences to clubs.
- Act as a regional ambassador for TeamFeePay, promoting brand awareness among grassroots clubs.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three years in sales or business development roles.
- Established connections in the grassroots football community within your region.
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Patience, resilience, and a strategic, process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and engaging workplace.
- Talent for identifying and seizing customer opportunities.
- Collaborative team approach and effective time management.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite.
- GCSE-level qualifications in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
