Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative, you will act as the initial contact for prominent companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, exploring advanced cloud and AI technologies. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams, your focus will be on developing and qualifying a robust sales pipeline to expedite Nebius’s expansion in the Middle East and Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Account Executives to identify and prioritize target accounts within the Middle East and Africa regions, carrying out outbound communications via calls, customized emails, and LinkedIn to arrange qualified meetings.
- Assess inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to ensure they meet Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline (BANT) criteria before transferring detailed prospect insights to Account Executives.
- Conduct qualification calls to identify client challenges, technical needs, and budget considerations.
- Represent Nebius at significant technology events in Middle East and Africa, scheduling onsite meetings and pursuing follow-ups to maximize event return on investment.
- Collect market feedback such as objections, competitor information, and feature requests during conversations and relay to Product and Marketing departments.
- Track outreach metrics including open, reply, and connection rates, working with Sales Operations to refine communication sequences and scripts.
- Keep abreast of latest AI and cloud industry trends, including generative AI applications in sectors like pharmaceutical R&D, to effectively convey Nebius’s value proposition.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, in written and spoken forms, is essential.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an SDR or BDR within cloud computing, B2B SaaS, or AI domains, with proven success targeting UAE and Middle Eastern and African markets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR and regional data privacy regulations.
- Highly driven, goal-focused, and adaptable to a high-velocity startup environment.
- Exceptional communication abilities with strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- A team-oriented mindset comfortable working in a hybrid setting.
