Overview
The Enterprise Business Development Representative (E-BDR) is a key position focused on accelerating growth within our Enterprise Solutions Division. This role primarily drives outbound lead generation aimed at high-value enterprise platform prospects and manages the initial phases of the sales funnel. Additionally, the position supports the Customer Success team by aiding client onboarding to preserve momentum, reduce Time-to-Value (TTV), and enable efficient, scalable platform deployments.
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively research and contact enterprise prospects via cold calling and email campaigns to secure platform demonstrations and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Function as a secondary resource during onboarding of new enterprise clients by gathering and verifying customer intake details such as product lists, branding preferences, approval protocols, and voucher logic for accurate setup.
- Maintain platform quality by handling simple reporting needs, resolving custom catalog setup issues, and troubleshooting product information or pricing discrepancies during implementation.
- Collaborate closely with territorial Sales representatives throughout pitching and implementation phases to provide clear progress communications.
- Develop and preserve strong expertise in HubSpot CRM, Prophet 21 ERP, and proprietary platform management systems for precise lead documentation and account configuration.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or technology platform sales support in customer-facing roles.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce and hands-on experience with ERP systems or technical workflow interactions are highly advantageous.
- Background in industrial supply or B2B purchasing/order workflows is favorable but not mandatory.
