Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to join a prominent workforce and employment solutions provider serving the APAC region. This role is centered on proactive prospecting to discover new business opportunities, initiate client engagement, and cultivate a robust sales pipeline within the contingent workforce and employment solutions sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue untapped business opportunities across APAC using strategic outreach methods.
- Establish and nurture relationships with senior professionals in HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Talent, and leadership roles.
- Employ various channels such as telephone, email, social media, referrals, networking, and industry events to generate qualified sales prospects.
- Assess and qualify business prospects, uncover client needs, and convert engagements into sales-ready opportunities.
- Manage and maintain ongoing relationships with prospective clients until formal handover to sales teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of pipeline, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems while consistently meeting performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to implement targeted account-based growth tactics and exchange market insights.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven background in B2B sales, business development, recruitment, staffing, or related commercial fields.
- A proactive hunter mindset with a history of generating new client leads and opening discussions.
- Outstanding skills in prospecting, relationship building, and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
- Self-driven, resilient, and goal-oriented with a record of meeting pipeline and revenue targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, complemented by strong analytical abilities.
- Organizational skills with disciplined CRM usage for pipeline and priority management.
- Experience in staffing, contingent workforce management, payroll, professional services, technology, or employment solutions preferred.
