Their integrated approach combines advanced analytics, real-world data, AI, and CRM functionalities to boost treatment initiation and refill rates, lower abandonment, and enhance brand outcomes. The mission focuses on ensuring chronic, life-threatening disease patients receive comprehensive support for the full benefit of their therapies.

This role offers the chance to contribute to pioneering digital health solutions within a supportive, innovative, and fast-moving company recognized as a top workplace. Employees benefit from flexible work arrangements, unlimited paid time off, stock options, and advanced technological tools that foster customer-focused innovation.

Position Overview

The Business Analyst will serve as the technical lead for configuring the Ascend 2.0 platform, a standardized, scalable solution that accelerates client onboarding within the specialty pharmacy data ecosystem. The key responsibility is to lead data partner specification negotiations, ensuring that inbound and outbound file specs comply entirely with the Ascend 2.0 data model prior to configuration to avoid delays.

Working closely with the Delivery Director, the Business Analyst will manage all aspects of data mapping, platform configuration, and internal quality assurance before client testing phases begin. They will interact closely with Engagement Managers, Delivery Directors, and Customer Engineering, and are expected to proactively communicate any capacity limits given the demands of handling multiple client implementations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiation and alignment of data file specifications, field mappings, formats, and delivery schedules with specialty pharmacy and data partners to ensure conformance with Ascend 2.0 standards.
  • Analyze and review partner data specs for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies directly with partners.
  • Validate test files against finalized specs, maintaining comprehensive documentation of version control and approvals.
  • Own end-to-end platform configuration tasks including data mapping, configuration tools operation, business logic implementation, and reporting setup as directed by the Configuration Blueprint.
  • Conduct thorough internal QA testing to eliminate defects before advancing to user acceptance testing, and maintain quality standards and documentation.
  • Determine when client requests require standard configuration changes or escalation to Product or Customer Engineering, documenting business and technical context effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engagement Managers and Delivery Directors to synchronize timelines, manage workload constraints, and oversee UAT activities.
  • Manage knowledge and documentation including data dictionaries, file inventories, business process models, and operational playbooks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in operational roles within biopharmaceutical manufacturers, reimbursement call centers, specialty pharmacies, or data management firms.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as conditional formulas and data summarization, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client programs or implementation projects.
  • In-depth understanding of specialty pharmacy data structures, healthcare data sources, and implementation lifecycle frameworks including UAT facilitation and defect management.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities in a detail-focused, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specialty pharmacy data file specs, SFTP processes, and data onboarding workflows.
  • Academic background in public health, business administration, or operations research.
  • Prior case management experience in reimbursement or specialty pharmacy settings.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs, and workflow diagramming software.
  • Experience working within structured implementation team frameworks such as RACI models.

Work Culture and Benefits

The team champions shared learning, collaboration, and a respectful, enjoyable work environment that embraces diversity and inclusivity. Regular regional town halls foster connection and community among geographically close employees. In addition to a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $125,000 per year, employees enjoy unlimited PTO, stock options, and access to advanced tools fostering innovation.

Additional Information

  • The position supports primarily remote work with occasional travel.
  • All hiring opportunities are officially posted on the company's website; beware of recruitment scams.
