Role Summary

The Business Analyst at GAR will support the successful deployment of technology solutions like SAP and CTRMs by thoroughly understanding project requirements and ensuring clear communication among stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an intermediary between business units and IT, converting business needs into system specifications and explaining system constraints in user-friendly terms.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to collect requirements and design comprehensive data integration workflows.
• Analyze business functions to determine operational goals by gathering relevant information and assessing system/process needs and configurations.
• Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements by reviewing current operations and proposing necessary modifications.
• Develop improved procedures and controls by diagnosing issues and crafting appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and update system/process protocols through detailed documentation.
• Support users by creating and maintaining reference materials, providing assistance, and conducting training sessions.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance monitoring, problem detection, and overall value delivery.
• Act as a critical project facilitator to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration and ongoing progress tracking of project milestones.
• Evaluate complex system datasets to detect quality issues, recommend specific data corrections, and partner with engineering teams to address underlying system glitches.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in business or system analyst roles within commodity-related companies.
• Previous experience working with SAP/AGB systems.
• Proficiency in data visualization methodologies and tools.
• Basic skills in creating process documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, including technical writing.
• Able to analyze system logs and trace transactions effectively.
