Job description

Position Overview

Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Business Analyst within the Business Support & Administration Team. This role involves examining data to uncover trends and areas for service enhancement, driving innovation and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze diverse datasets including human resources, financial, and clinical information to identify opportunities for improvement using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Develop customized reports tailored to departmental requirements, providing management with actionable recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Monitor and report on quality management system performance against established benchmarks, delivering regular data analysis and insights.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline coupled with at least three years of relevant experience conducting data analysis and overseeing system quality management.
  • Proficient in querying databases using tools such as PeopleSoft, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, Excel, and SQL.

Additional Information

In compliance with Ministry of Health policies, all health workers must disclose past vaccinations or infection histories to facilitate appropriate health measures. This will be part of the onboarding procedures.
