Business Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a detail-driven Business Analyst to serve as a crucial link between business needs and technology solutions. This full-time position, based in Berlin, Germany, suits candidates from entry to mid-level experience who are passionate about analyzing business workflows and supporting project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and analyze business requirements from various departments.
• Assess existing business processes and systems to uncover potential improvements.
• Convert business needs into clear functional specs, user stories, flowcharts, and documentation.
• Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and operations teams to implement effective solutions.
• Perform data analysis, business reviews, and process evaluations to aid decision making.
• Lead meetings and workshops to align project goals and gather detailed information.
• Support project planning, testing phases, rollout, and change management tasks.
• Create business cases, reports, dashboards, and presentations aimed at management and stakeholders.
• Conduct gap analysis, root cause investigations, and impact assessments for initiatives.
• Assist on user acceptance testing to ensure deliverables meet business criteria.
• Monitor results of projects and suggest continuous enhancements.
• Keep business documentation, process maps, and records accurate and updated.

Requirements

• Preferred experience includes business analysis, operations, consulting, data analysis, or related roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation capabilities.
• Skillful in capturing and interpreting complex business requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and documentation tools.
• Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent is a bonus.
• Understanding of process modeling, project management, and system rollout frameworks is desirable.
• Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
• Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related disciplines is preferred.
