Role overview
Capgemini is seeking a Bid Manager to support large, strategic opportunities by coordinating the full bid lifecycle. In this role, you will partner with sales, pursuit teams, solution specialists, and other internal stakeholders to help shape winning proposals and ensure timely, high-quality bid delivery. The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Key responsibilities
- Support end-to-end bid management for major and strategically important deals in partnership with sales, pursuit teams, and solution experts.
- Work with the sales organization to provide effective presales and bid support for client opportunities.
- Build and manage the pursuit plan, keep the bid aligned with that plan, and drive completion within the required timeline.
- Make sure proposal sections are coordinated well and that all RFP/RFI requirements are addressed in the final submission.
- Partner with cross-functional groups such as solution teams, finance, and subject-matter experts.
- Handle stakeholder expectations and help resolve issues across teams.
- Create the bid budget and manage spending within the approved limits.
- Lead supporting activities such as value reporting, knowledge management, and win-loss analysis.
- Ensure proposals and bid responses are organized, coordinated, and delivered according to agreed deadlines.
- Use research and industry networking to stay informed about market trends and competitor approaches.
Candidate profile
- 2 to 6 years of experience in bid management, along with exposure to account management or client management.
- Strong ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage relationships across teams.
- Experience or familiarity with delivery leadership and people management.
- Good research capability and awareness of industry trends and competitor practices.
- Understanding of business leadership, service delivery, and overall delivery operations.
- Ability to handle multiple bids and competing priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
