Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Deliver courteous, professional, and attentive service to guests at all times.
- Promptly address guest requests or concerns with efficiency and care.
- Build personal rapport with guests to understand their needs and create "wow" moments.
- Safely provide valet parking and retrieval of guest vehicles.
- Assist with guest room deliveries as needed.
- Operate guest shuttles to nearby attractions, requiring knowledge of local destinations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Kananaskis Valley and surroundings to offer recommendations and booking assistance.
- Upkeep public areas including hotel lobbies and entrances.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with multiple departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Conference Services, and Accounting.
- Know and adhere to all safety and emergency protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Dynamic and enthusiastic individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry guest luggage safely.
- Hospitality or Tourism Diploma is an asset but not required.
- Prior experience in customer service essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor expected.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Computer literate with experience using Windows and Internet applications.
- Health and safety conscious with a dedication to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Ability to work variable shifts and in a team-oriented environment.
- Must hold a valid Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator’s License: minimum Class 5 required; Class 4 preferred for shuttle driving duties.
- Ability to drive manual transmission and operate standard vehicles is a benefit.
Physical Demands
- Extended standing and walking throughout shifts in a high-visibility hospitality setting.
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling luggage and equipment weighing 25 to 50 lbs.
- Skillfully maneuver loaded luggage carts (up to 50 lbs.) safely through various hotel areas.
- Repetitive movements, including bending, kneeling, and reaching during luggage handling and organization.
- Exposure to diverse outdoor weather conditions while assisting guests outdoors.
- Strict adherence to safe lifting techniques and occupational health and safety standards.

- Hourly wage of $18.00 plus gratuities.
