Barista (Full Time and Part Time)

Position Overview

Fresh Ideas Management, part of Compass Group USA, is actively seeking both full-time and part-time Baristas to join our team at Young Harris College, Georgia. This role involves preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages along with related food and beverage items, ensuring adherence to HACCP guidelines for quality and safety. Candidates must have a friendly, courteous demeanor and prior barista experience is preferred. Pay is set at $13.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso and other coffee orders accurately using standard recipes and measurements.
• Process orders efficiently using POS systems, handling cash and card payments properly.
• Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining a clean and orderly service area.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations thoroughly and regularly.
• Greet customers warmly, address their concerns, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Serve customers swiftly to avoid delays and provide knowledgeable explanations about menu items.
• Promote selling techniques by effective communication to assist customer purchasing decisions.
• Keep display foods arranged attractively and serve food in an appealing manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support operations.
