Role Overview

We are seeking National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigators. You will perform thorough interviews with subjects and associated individuals, examine pertinent records to address all material aspects of cases, and assess the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of investigation subjects. Detailed reports must be prepared and submitted within strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong commitment to national security missions.
• Exemplary work ethic, integrity, and proactive attitude.
• Physical capability to walk, sit, stand, or type for prolonged periods.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce extensive and detailed reports.
• Experience in conducting background investigations.
• A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience with at least three years relevant work experience.
• Consistent record of quality, timeliness, and productivity metrics.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication based on Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally daily depending on assignment location; use of public transport may be acceptable if practical.

Security Clearance

Must have favorable adjudication of Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 or SSBI.
