AZ City Driver - Days

Role Overview

GLS Canada is seeking an AZ City Driver for their Vaughan terminal located at 9501 Hwy 50 Vaughan, ON L4H 2B9. This full-time, permanent position offers a Monday to Friday schedule starting at 9:00 AM, with shifts lasting 10 to 12 hours each day.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of $28.12 plus $1.00 per stop completed.

Equipment and Work Environment

• Operate semi-trailer tractors with air suspension systems.
• Trucks are maintained to be five years old or newer.
• Each vehicle includes air-conditioned cabins with double soundproofing for driver comfort.
• Premium Plus air suspension seats featuring six lumbar adjustment positions for ergonomics.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe driving practices at all times.
• Operate DZ license vehicles as needed.
• Deliver goods punctually within designated timeframes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to departure, including completing inspection reports and identifying any defects.

Candidate Requirements

• Must possess a valid AZ commercial driver’s license.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience required.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Possess good physical health to meet job demands.
• Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness in daily operations.

Additional Information

• Employees return home daily following shifts.
• Workplace located onsite in Vaughan, Ontario.
