Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Autodesk Vault Administrator with a background in CAD to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. The role involves managing the Autodesk CAD applications alongside Vault Professional (PDM) software to ensure seamless engineering and design processes. The successful candidate will be pivotal in data administration, configuration, user support, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration, configuration, and technical support of Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault environments.
- Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Manage user permissions, security settings, and user accounts within CAD and Vault systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to manage data integration and CAD model workflows.
- Provide training and assist end-users in adopting best practices for Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting CAD and PDM platforms.
- Monitor system operations and suggest improvements or enhancements as necessary.
- Support software upgrades, patches, and configuration updates for CAD and PDM tools.
- Coordinate with IT teams to maintain robust data backup and recovery strategies.
- Assist cross-functional teams with integrating Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault with other enterprise systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of four years' hands-on administration experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault Professional.
- Strong expertise in database management, system security protocols, and backup procedures.
- Understanding of system integrations, data migration processes, and software updates.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and capability to thrive in collaborative team settings.
- Knowledge of additional tools like CAD, PLM, PDM, ERP, and familiarity with systems such as Teamcenter with TCAA is advantageous.
- Previous experience in system administration or IT support roles is preferred.
- Certifications related to Inventor or Vault administration are an asset.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in languages such as C#, .NET, XML, Python beneficial for automation purposes.
- Experiences in project management or deploying systems add further value.
