Role Overview

As our Cork city team continues to expand, we seek a client-facing Senior Manager based at our South Mall location. Reporting directly to the Senior Audit Partner, you will oversee multiple audit assignments within our regional Cork client portfolio. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to advisory projects and broader office initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, allocating resources, and organizing audit assignments efficiently.
  • Reviewing audit documentation and preparing financial statements.
  • Assisting the audit partner with sporadic business advisory tasks including Revenue and banking negotiations, restructuring, and litigation assistance.
  • Supervising trainees pursuing Chartered Accountancy qualifications.
  • Meeting team budget goals and agreed business planning targets.
  • Upholding rigorous technical and professional standards.
  • Anticipating client needs by gaining comprehensive insights into their business and associated risks.
  • Proactively managing challenges to prevent escalation and developing appropriate solutions.
  • Mentoring and developing team members through coaching and training.

Requirements

  • Qualification as ACA or ACCA.
  • Between five to seven years of external audit experience, including one to three years in supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Highly organized with excellent collaboration skills.
  • A strong client focus and ambition for career progression.

Employment Details

This is a permanent, office-based position located in Cork, Ireland.
