Job Overview
We are in search of enthusiastic and proactive Maintenance professionals committed to exceptional customer service and capable of delivering innovative solutions to our guests. The role of Audiovisual Technician involves setting up and managing audio-visual equipment for events held at the hotel and offering technical support for banquet areas and function rooms.
Key Duties
- Prepare and verify audiovisual equipment for banquet events based on daily function sheets, including the dismantling and proper storage post events.
- Complete assigned tasks ensuring all functions have properly configured and operational setups.
- Operate AV equipment during events as needed.
- Perform monthly inventories of all banquet AV equipment.
- Log daily all AV equipment requested for off-site banquets and incoming or outgoing goods.
- Execute tasks outlined in the Preventive Maintenance Program to maintain equipment functionality.
- Collaborate and assist fellow Engineering team members as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the AV control and storage rooms.
- Conduct daily inspections of function rooms and breakout areas, ensuring lighting, air conditioning, and other services are fully operational; promptly address any issues such as lamp replacement.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in media techniques and have previous experience operating audiovisual equipment in theatre or hotel environments. Proficiency in English and the ability to troubleshoot and repair AV systems are essential.
