Job Overview

The Attractions Manager will oversee daily operational activities within the Attractions department to guarantee smooth, efficient functioning that meets elevated guest service standards. This role encompasses procurement, inventory control, budgeting, scheduling, and strategic business planning. Leadership of the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while ensuring safety compliance and financial performance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute operational strategies aligned with the department's overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Attractions General Manager to evaluate future attraction requirements, new services, and enhancements, converting insights into executable plans.
  • Perform market research to guide business plan development, identifying trends and prospects to maximize revenues and engagement.
  • Establish and review long-term plans consistent with organizational strategy and guest demands.
  • Introduce process improvements to boost offerings and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage procurement operations ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
  • Oversee inventory management including receiving, tracking, and record maintenance to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Build and sustain vendor relationships to guarantee uninterrupted supply chains.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and represent Attractions in cross-departmental meetings.
  • Manage budgets aligning with financial policies, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Design staff schedules optimizing resource allocation, controlling costs, and maintaining service excellence.
  • Establish operational policies and procedures adhering to compliance standards and regulations.
  • Lead risk management efforts with contingency plans to mitigate potential operational disruptions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance assessment of team members fostering a culture of improvement and mentorship.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth execution of all activities.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses including forecasts, actual expenditures, and variance reports for senior management.
  • Promote innovation by identifying efficiency improvements and staying informed about industry best practices.
  • Manage guest experiences by resolving complaints swiftly and fostering positive interactions enhancing guest loyalty.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related disciplines is required.
  • Preferred certifications include Operations Management or Project Management credentials.
  • More than 10 years of relevant operational management experience in entertainment or hospitality, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex guest-facing operations focusing on innovation and continuous improvements.

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of working independently and handling manual tasks involving lifts up to 5 kg.
