This London-based Associate role sits within the investment team and offers direct exposure to the full private equity deal cycle. You will contribute to investment decisions, support transactions and portfolio work, and work alongside senior professionals on origination, diligence, execution, and value-creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with transaction execution from early sourcing through modelling, diligence, and closing.
• Build and review financial models, analyse data, and help assess the attractiveness of potential investments.
• Carry out market, sector, and competitor research to spot trends and identify opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for investment committee discussions and client-facing reviews.
• Support relationship development with management teams, founders, and other market participants to aid origination and portfolio growth.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, strategic projects, and sector thought leadership efforts.

Candidate profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, venture capital, corporate finance, or a leading consulting firm.
• Strong capability in financial modelling, analysis, and commercial judgment, including work with complex datasets.
• A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a demanding, fast-moving setting.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across varied stakeholders.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
