Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and supervising store staff to meet operational goals.
- Manage bookkeeping and merchandising activities to maintain store standards.
- Uphold high service standards by delivering swift and friendly customer interactions.
- Promote consistent on-site attendance and lead by example within your team.
- Implement our advanced food service program with quality and care.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams effectively.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel.
- Competence in delegation, follow-up, and organizational planning.
- Strong communication skills to convey plans and motivate employees.
- Proficiency in cash handling and bookkeeping procedures.
- Problem-solving aptitude coupled with empathy and advocacy.
- Awareness and enforcement of safety and security guidelines.
Preferred Experience
- Background in retail or supervisory roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety is a plus.
- Educational credentials including high school or college degrees are beneficial.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Lift and carry items up to 30 pounds for up to 30 minutes during a shift and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds to waist level.
- Capability to push or pull objects exerting 20 pounds of force.
- Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour each shift.
- Manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating objects, possibly requiring ladder use.
