About the Role
Join Babcock International Group as an Assistant Service Delivery Manager at our Technology Centre in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, with hybrid working options. You will be instrumental in managing a suite of IT services and contracts that support critical defence operations, ensuring high-quality delivery that aligns with business objectives and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the performance and delivery of IT services, guaranteeing adherence to SLA and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders and third-party service providers.
- Generate and review comprehensive service reports encompassing incident, change, release, and problem management.
- Assist in resolving incidents, managing service requests, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to service enhancement projects, contract renewal processes, and the preparation of customer proposals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in IT service management or service delivery roles.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and established service management standards such as ISO 20000 or ISO 9000.
- Understanding of software support procedures and service lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities across diverse organizational levels.
- Possession of ITIL Foundation certification or higher is mandatory.
Security Requirements
Candidates must be sole UK nationals eligible to obtain and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, national security clearance and trade control restrictions apply based on birthplace, nationality, citizenship, or residency.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 35 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements combining onsite presence at the Bristol site and remote work.
