About the Role

Join Westpac's Queensland Commercial Banking team as an Assistant Relationship Manager based in Brisbane, situated on Mianjin, Turrbal, and Jagera Country. In this full-time position, you will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to assist in managing and expanding a portfolio of commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

You will employ strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements, conduct cash flow assessments, and evaluate risks to support lending decisions and credit submissions. Your role also involves structuring financial deals, identifying new risks, and providing valuable insights to help clients maintain financial stability.

This position is well-suited for individuals with a background in analysis, accounting, or finance who enjoy problem-solving and are eager to build trusted relationships by learning on the job. Essential qualifications include a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in financial statement analysis, risk evaluation, and turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-driven mindset are critical.
