Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to aid senior leadership in managing daily operations, overseeing teams, and driving business goals. This role involves supporting operational planning, guiding team efforts, managing performance, enhancing customer relations, and improving business processes to ensure smooth organizational function. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders including managers, staff, customers, and suppliers to help boost overall performance and deliver outstanding results. Ideal candidates possess passion for leadership, operational excellence, teamwork, and management skill development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist management in supervising everyday business activities to ensure efficient workflows.
- Support implementation of operational strategies, policies, and objectives.
- Coordinate and guide team members to meet performance, customer service, and business targets.
- Delegate duties, track task completion, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Help with employee scheduling, workforce planning, onboarding, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Monitor team results and provide coaching, constructive feedback, and ongoing support.
- Support budget, inventory, resource allocation, and cost management as needed.
- Track key performance indicators, service quality, productivity, and overall business metrics.
- Assist in customer service operations including resolving inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, HR, operations, procurement, etc., to meet goals.
- Identify operational risks and challenges; propose and implement process improvements.
- Prepare reports and summaries on performance and operational status for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support senior management during meetings, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, customers, suppliers, and internal teams when required.
- Assume managerial responsibilities during absences to maintain continuity.

Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in supervisory, team leadership, assistant management, coordination, or related roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business operations, team management, customer service, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to motivate and provide guidance to employees to achieve business success.
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with business management, CRM, POS, or operational software is advantageous.

- Ability to work autonomously while engaging effectively with the management team.

- Educational credentials such as a certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Hospitality, Retail, or related areas are a plus.
