Role Overview
This position is responsible for supporting SGNIC's interactions with regulators and internal stakeholders concerning policies and telecommunications-related topics. It demands excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities to ensure prompt and effective handling of regulatory and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing engagements with IMDA on policy aspects.
- Coordinate with IMDA and internal departments such as Legal and Finance to collect inputs and produce consolidated responses on telecom issues.
- Help prepare reports, briefing documents, and progress updates for management regarding stakeholder interactions.
- Oversee communications with stakeholders to maintain smooth coordination and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Monitor stakeholder commitments, track issues, and gather feedback for continued resolution and action.
- Create briefing notes, presentations, and reports for management, stakeholder meetings, and consultation sessions.
- Recognize and raise awareness of potential challenges, risks, or disagreements that could impact stakeholder relations or project success.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Telecommunications, Engineering, or applicable discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience involving stakeholder management, telecom operations, and vendor management.
- Capable of effectively organizing, planning projects, coordinating activities, and maintaining progress tracking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
